1. This is intended to be a fun and friendly competition. No prizes, no registration, no entrance fees, no judges; just bragging rights! Honor system only! Final standings and any problem resolutions along the way will be determined by jettyfishing.com and will be considered final.

2. Entries will be judged for entrance into these 4 categories:
  · Jetty Fish
  · Non-Jetty Fish
  · Jetty Shark
  · Non-jetty Shark

For the following FISH species:
  · Black Drum
  · Bluefish
  · Flounder
  · Gaftop
  · Jack Crevalle
  · King Mackerel
  · Red Drum
  · Sea Trout
  · Sheepshead
  · Spanish Mackerel
  · Tarpon

And the following SHARK species:
  · Blacktip
  · Bull
  · Finetooth
  · Greater Hammerhead
  · Sandbar
  · Scalloped Hammerhead
  · Spinner
  · Tiger

3. It is up to the participant to ensure accurate length mearurements are obtained, pictures are taken and that the fish are either taken legally or released after the aforementioned details are taken care of, in accordance with the state laws that apply where the fish is caught.

4. Hall of Fame entries are accepted year round and historical records are available for a period of 5 years.

5. An entry may be made for any category or year shown on the submission form, in which the entry ranks in the top 3. Entries that do not rank in the top 3 will not be accepted. If a species already has 3 entries and a superior submission is made, the last place entry will automatically be deleted from the standings. Entries are accepted for any year, any category and any species listed.

6. Hall of Fame participation is open to any and all fisherpeople (men, women, children) on the US Gulf and Atlantic coasts.

7. Legal catches and possession only, otherwise catch and release, with photo and appropriate noted information. Fish that are illegally caught and/or retained are not allowed in any category.

8. Only submit an entry once!

9. Land or Jetty based rod and reel only. No boat catches allowed in any category.

10. Photo's required for proof of catch, along with length measurements.

11. Length measurements are required, but weight and girth can be submitted in addition to the length measurement.

12. Use the entry submission form to submit entries to the Hall of Fame and provide all information required on the form. Only submit an entry once. Ranking for each entry will be handled automatically.

13. Jetty category is defined as a rock or concrete structure extending from the shore into the ocean that marks a shipping channel, pass or cut into a bay, shipping lane or intracoastal waterway (ie. A rock structure extending towards and into the ocean, not a bay, or any other direction!)

14. Non-jetty category is defined as pier, surf, shore, bay, etc. (No boats); or a jetty that does not extend into the ocean!

15. For the purposes of this tournament, an entry may be made by the person who takes the pole from the time the fish picks up the bait until it is landed, regardless of who's pole it belongs to or who cast it out, as long as it is not handed off during the battle. The only exception to this will be if the pole is handed off at the time of landing, so that person may assist in the landing of the fish.

16. All pictures submitted to the Hall of Fame become the property of Jettyfishing.com.

17. Jettyfishing.com reserves the right to disqualify an entry and/or eliminate a participant entirely for any reason that is deemed neccessary, at it's sole discretion.

18. Jettyfishing.com will not be held responsible in any way for personal or property damages or injuries as a result of participation in this tournament.
