The water is still muddy and all the way up into peoples back yard up on the top of fish river (drive across it every day), I guess I will be down near the beach soon as I am itching to wet a hook

It does for now but I'm hoping that the saying "Good things come to those that wait" will be true.

Tue Dec 22 report

Postby Pier#r » Thu Dec 24, 2009 6:16 am

I fished Perdido Pass (seawall and west jetty) Tuesday afternoon.
There was no tidal flow (even though the tide was rising slightly on a NEAP).
The water was seriously off color (looked like COLD dark iced tea ;-)
And the sheepshead were goin NUTZ!

A guy was catching good numbers over the rockpile near the bridge (though most were small).
Another guy was hammering small sheepshead, puppy drum and slot reds in the pass from the west jetty.

I fished live shrimp (had 21) and ended up keeping 10 sheepshead (12"-16" FL)
