Scalloped Hammerhead Shark

One of three significant species of hammerheads found along the gulf coast. The Scalloped Hammerhead (as shown in the image above) has 'bumps' at the front edge of it's head when looking straight down at it. The Greater Hammerhead is more straight across at the front edge and is the larger of the three. And the Bonnethead is more curved at the front without the 'bumps' and is the smaller of the three species.
